November 5th 2007 - Resumed work on this website after taking forever off. Apologies.

Let's see, I had a lovely reunion via phone with a good friend from Canada who I went to school with. Herb is a great fella, grew up to be a fine man, despite my influence on him.

Don and Mary (Kat) sent not one but two fantastic gifts, from Oregon. The first a handcrafted, double dream catcher that she makes to order based on her readings of people. It's stunning, and I will post a pic as soon as I get a chance. The second, now get this is a California King deluxe mattress topper! I fall into the bed each night now, and refuse to move, sometimes even after I wake up! What sweet gifts from very sweet folks!

And last but not least Jeff my band buddy got tired of watching be go blind on my old CRT monitor and asked me what monitor I would like. I mentioned a ViewSonic 19 inch monitor (LCD) that I had my eye on, and he ordered it right then and there. So three days later, he called and said "Your monitor is here!", so I drove over to his house (stopping for our usual burritos and showed up for a mini-feast and to open my lovely gift, before vocal practice for the band.

It's looking more and more like an early Christmas! WOW! Who knew?

Now I sleep better, and when I wake up (eventually) I flip the computer on, and look at a breathtaking monitor. I even added the Marine Aquarium 2.6 for a screen saver, and added the band logo (which made Jeff happy too!) Now, I won't go blind as quickly! Yea!

More to follow.
